After a few hours of web searching on large hutches I found this website with links to lots of options with UK companies, and the pros and cons of each discussed. Thought I'd share it with y'all!

Comparison of Big (6ft) Rabbit Hutches & Stockists

Obviously care to be taken with ramps and things with piggies, but there looks to be some options at good prices if you want a large wooden hutch. Digging into the websites and you can find one company will even build you a range of different guinea pig sheds too. Fancy any of these beauties for your garden?

I have a Boyle's shed and I love it. Through naivety I have had to make quite a number of adjustments to it, but it's really lovely seeing them have sooo much space! The next shed will have a much more specific and detailed specification!

What adjustments have you made to it and what would you change for next time? What is the build quality like? How hard is the wood they make it with (i.e. Does it get chewed to bits in 5 minutes by voracious piggies?)

Hi, built quality is very high, it's mostly things I hadn't considered before. The position it has to be in means it's very sunny and I'd have both windows opening if I did it again (one on the short side as well as the one on the long side) and I'd ask for the hinges on one of them to be at the top so I could prop it open, but still not let the rain in! I asked for a shelf, which is fab. I also asked for a stable door, which is brill and an aviary style mesh door with step over to stop cats and squirrels getting in when the main door was open. The mesh door left a 10cm gap at the top! Plenty room for creatures to get in. He did send (after a long time) something to block the gap but we'd already fixed it. Also the configuration on the two doors was odd. The main door opened outward with the hinges on the right (all good so far) but the mesh door also opened outwards with the hinges on the left, which meant the stable door had to be open all the way before you could open the mesh door. It also meant that if you were inside and it started to rain, you couldn't shut the main door. This configuration also meant the mesh door didn't bolt flush, as this would stop the main door from shutting. We flipped the mesh door round so it's now 'inside out' but I can sneak in without opening both doors really wide and can pull the stable door closed whilst I'm inside. Also fitted a smaller bolt so it doesn't get in the way of the other door. The roofing felt was total rubbish and we had to buy some better stuff!
My piggies have stuck to chewing their wooden house rather than the framing. My main issue is that it gets too hot, but that's because of where it is that's not his fault!
