I am presently waiting for the delivery of my Snowflake bedding from a supplier through Amazon.
I haven't tried it before but after reading @BossHogg 's posts on it I wanted to try it out as an absorbent layer sandwiched in newspaper, under the hay in the hutch.

As with most things if you want something delivered to Northern Ireland (which is part of the UK and shares the same postal system - the Royal Mail), things just don't always seem to be straightforward.

Due by Saturday 6th September at the latest I am just hoping that the parcel has not been 'lost' like the other things that were sent by Royal Mail that never arrived - how can they loose a large roll of Bubble wrap? I ordered the extra large packet to get the most for my money but seeing as they like to loose large things maybe that was a bad idea.

I am therefore writing this post so that it turns up today and I will have to edit my post to confirm that they are not that bad. Otherwise if anyone is traveling by ferry can you please look out for my packages floating in the Irish Sea. :tu:

Hoping to post a review on the Snowflake should it turn up.

I like your style, beat the universe at it's own game :))

Looking forward to a review of this stuff. Hope it turns up today

Have you tried going to your local independent petshop and see if they can get it delivered to the store so you can pick it up there?

Will try that next time - its no hassle waiting for the parcel as if I wasn't in the postman will always leave with a neighbour, and leave a card through my door - its just the amazing regularity of missing parcels that is doing my head in! :mal::D

p.s. still now snow - will soon be a week late - will need to leave a "where's my stuff?" message soon on Amazon - unless it arrives tomorrow?

not here  but did the where's my stuff thing and they are sending another by courier this time :D
fingers crossed! :dri: review will follow once I actually get the snowflakes delivered

I live in Sion Mills, Co. Tyrone - fingers crossed this comes as they have now sent by Yodel - thats a great idea about getting it delivered through the local pet shop - once I've tried and tested it I will do that should I be ordering more.

Ordered the xlarge pack so just wondering how big thats going to be! Might last me a while.....:D

I spent 2 years in the province in the late 80s/90s - 18 months in uniform in Lisburn and 6 months plain clothes in South Armagh. I get the extra large pack from my pet shop, it costs £8.50 a bale. ;)

wow! that would have been some experience!

I lived in Lisburn for a while too - must say even since I moved here mid 90's its changed so much - you wouldn't recognise Lisburn now! - I am very at home over here, is my home from home.

I paid just over that for my one - but having said that I ain't got it yet - so if it is as good as you say it is I will go down the local pet shop route
