Wadding

Hi. I want to make some cage liners. I need wadding, but can't find the cotton wadding only polyester ( I think). Does anybody know the correct item to buy. Thanks

You can use zorb, or it’s a case of trawling through what you can find. I used
a mattress protector from tkmaxx but it was pot luck getting a cotton one.

Polyester won't work because it isn't absorbent.
The whole point of the middle layer is to trap the urine and hold it there.
Look in the bedding isle of any supermarket for a cotton mattress protector - they look a bit like thin felt - that should do the trick.
