How long can a guinea pig go withought vitamin C? I ran out of lettuce 2 days ago, and lettuce is usually where my guinea pig gets his vitamin c. Ive been giving him other vegetables, but hes really picky and he didnt really eat them. I tried giving him orange but he doesn't like things with strong smells so he didnt eat it. I also gave him tons of pellets but they arent fresh so I'm assuming there isn't much vaitmin C in it. I'm going to go buy lettuce tommorow, will he be ok until then?
 
It’ll be fine. There is vitamin c in hay also
Best not to over feed pellets.
