Is anybody else having problems with Virgin Media? For the past few weeks I have tried phoning them but no-one ever answers - you just get left in a never ending queue. I have emailed them twice and only get the standard reply when they receive your mail saying they will be in touch within 7 days and then nothing else. Tonight I have no TV. It appears to be a problem in this area but again no-one is answering the phone to let you know what the problem is. Not even a recorded message. >:(

I want to cancel the whole lot but how the hell can I do that when no-one responds to me! >:(

I'm not impressed!

RING 150 and complain till the cows come home ;) I have had a right time of it with them of late and they give you stuff for free if you ask for it ;)

I must say that i've had no problems with them - I rang 150 and had to hold for a bit (I put the phone on handsfree speaker and carried on washing up etc!, it's free if you;ve got cable phone anyway). They answered after about 10 mins, and I explained that we wanted to cancel and move to Sky, not because of losing sky one etc (i must be the only person who doesn't watch lost and 24 98)) but because I could pick what packages we wanted and we wanted Disney for my little one. She originally said ok, and explained that they could move the box into the bedroom or somewhere for free as we could keep it, but when I asked her if they would do me a deal to stay i got a really good deal for much cheaper - more channels, phone and broadband too for over £10 a month less! Result! O0

Thats good to hear! What time of day did you phone? I have hung on for up to two hours and still not been answered. I was originally only contacting them to cancel the extra box I had but I have become increasingly annoyed with them over the past few weeks.

Just out of interest though, have you had a bill yet which shows the reduction in cost they offered you? A friend of mine was well pleased when they made a good reduction to retain her business. However, she never actually got billed for less and after phoning them time and time again regarding this she went ahead and changed to Sky.

Yes we have had a bill that had a credit on it as we had already paid so much towards the next month at the previous price (if that makes any sense ?). I phoned about 9.30, maybe 10am I think, it was the day we were going on holiday, so i hung on while I was sorting things out for the car to be packed. I'm sure it was about that time because we left the house by 11am that day.
