:agr:

A vet needs to see it and offer the correct course of treatment and pain relief.

I hope your piggy is ok

Hi!

Unfortunately, we cannot diagnose sight unseen. The best way forward is to have your piggy vet checked as to what is causing the problem - mange mites, hay mites or a fungal skin infection called ringworm can all be in the running but need different treatment; it is best to step in with the appropriate vet grade treatment to get on top of the problem once and for all. You will also have to treat all guinea pigs in contact with the infected one.

If your guinea pigs are newly bought, you can reclaim any vet cost from the pet shop as part of your customer rights for having been sold damaged ware.
