vicious little piggie nearly bit my finger off

ok slight exaggeration but ouch it hurt :(
little rodney has been a nipper for a while but its only been a slight nip but before he gave me a nasty bite and drew blood.
I'm hoping that it was because he could smell veggies on me as i had just changed his cage and prepared his dinner, although i did wash my hands!
but I'm worried this may be the start of a new problem and i really dont want him to turn into a biter, nobody likes a biter do they rolleyes
has anyone got any advice on how to nip this in the bud before i die from loss of blood!(where he bit me is on the bend of my finger and it keeps starting to bleed again 8... )
when he bit me i did shout at him i said " ouch you vicious little git that hurt" but then he just wheeked some abuse back at me and i put him back in the cage where he had tasty new veggies etc, so i sort of gave him mixed messages there mallethead

She does not like being Brushed and really took a chunk out of my finger the first time I brushed her, there was blood everywhere @)

Ceri had a real go at my legs the other day when she had managed to REALLY muss herself up and wouldn't even sit still for some judicious snipping around her back end. mallethead

I am suffering for beauty, too! rolleyes!
 
When I sustained bites from Mimsi and Montomery is was after I was seperating them from fighting. I have had the odd nip like when I'm filling their hay rack and obviously not doing it quick enough so they often give me a nip as it to say 'hurry up'. I also got bit on the thigh and that bled for ages. Had a huge bruise after. None of my girls have ever bitten me.
 
Barbra bites me all the time!
Usually the worst ones are when I stop her bullying Caramel but she can nip just because she doesn't like me!:o
 
Fred bit my niece but he's never bitten me :))...I think he has good taste ;) .... I'm such an evil auntie :))!
