I have noticed over the last week that 2 of my male Baby pigs have been vibrating.we had to seperate them from the mother at a early age.the four boys are from 2 seperate litters.I understand that theye will need seperating soon but i am just waiting for 2 of them to be adopted as it was a very unexpected pregnancy thanks to pets at home's amazing careless breeders 2 pigs ive bought from there and both pregnant anyway thats a different story.

Does anybody know why they vibrate as it is happening alot now i have looked allover the internet and got 8 differnet answers.

The vibrating is called rumbling or rumblestrutting and usually means a male babies' "ammunition" waking up.

You need to separate any male babies at three weeks old in order to avoid any accidents. The earliest documented brother-sister pregnancy is 24 days. I have included a link with lots of pictures to sex the babies.

You can try to rehome your youngsters to a reputable rescue that will take care that your babies will only to good and home checked homes. That is what I did with my shop piggy surprises when they arrived at the worst time possbile and I couldn't keep them. Since then I have taken care to only rehome from a reputable rescue. Here is a list of reputable guinea pig rescues in your area:

i seperated them a while back i now have the 2 mothers and the little female baby in one cage and the boys in the other it has only happened since the boys moved into that cage.
