Vibrating and purring

Last night once we had bathed coco and twiglet we laid on the bed with them and they snuggled into me and my friends daughter. We heard this vibrating purring sound coming from both of them and was amazed that this sound could come from such a small creature! From what I have read it is a happy sound but just wondered what your experiences are of purring vibrating piggys?

ches used to purr so loudly when we stroked him. he loved shoulder rubs. sometimes he would even purr in anticipation
