Vetbed - where to buy

HI all

As a new piggy owner I have been reading about vetbed but wonder where is best to buy it and is it suitable for outdoor cages as well as indoor?

I am thinking of buying enough to cage the bedding several times per week. I currently use Care fresh but I use a whole pack 14 litres in the indoor cage and just use newspaper and hay in the outdoor cage.

I am thinking anything reusable and washable is far nicer than spening £10 per week on bedding that is only used once.

Ideas please

Hi I use vet bed for my piggies who are kept indoors. Not sure about using it outside. I got mine from Ebay.
 
I've been researching this and have heard a few people who use it outdoors and it seems to work fine :)

I use vetbed to indoors, it does dry really quickly. i bought mine from ebay :)
 
how often do you change the vet bedding? Do you use it for the full length of the cage or just in sleep area?

Just trying to work out how is best to use it.
 
I'm planning to get some for my hutches, but I think I'll just use it in the sleeping area, and fleece in the rest. And I think I'll probably still use hay as well in the winter.

It'd be so handy to clean everyday, just brushing off the poops. I'm hoping that washing it once a week would be ok, because it wouldn't smell as much outdoors, but don't really know.
