hello,

I'm back again!

My vetbed has finally arrived - stupid parcel delivery people went to the wrong house yesterday :a19:

The vetbed will be excellent for the base of the cage but my boys keep chewing on the corex sides of the cage so I am going to have to come up with something to cover them. I was thinking I could sew the vetbed to a length of elasticated fabric and then it will go over the sides and stay secure (stopping them exploring underneath etc) but the Vetbed will be too think for sewing. What have other people done?

Thanks

Jenny

I know its a bit of an obvious question but I am really baffled as to how everyone else keeps the vetbed in place and stops their piggies chewing the corex? I have looked at some of the pics of other peoples cages but they either arent using vetbed or dont show the sides.

Aggh my vet bed order arrived today too, but only two items when i ordered three pieces of vetbed and it was meant to come all together in one parcel aggh! Glad yours came though and it is lovely isnt it? But I'm not sure how you stick it down though :)

Mine are extremely spoiled piggies - last night though Leo kept me awake all night with his chewing of the corex! I got up I dont know how many times to tuck the towel back in and each time he dragged it back out!

Really need a soultion shortly before they eat it all.

I use vet bed and I would be surprised if you could sew it. What about using velcro- I know they sell it in long lengths in wilkinsons. We use it in the nursery to stick labels to boxes etc and I know the children have difficulty in pulling the labels off the boxes.

I will need to be able to change it though each week for washing etc.

Surely someone else's piggies chew the corex - is it only mine that are less than fussy about what they eat!
