We are choosing our options at school. (were you have to choose lessons, for your prefered job in the future.) i am stil in choosing, oh, how can i choose my future now?
I have rounded it up to journatalist, designer or vet. i love writing stories, poems and reports, but i also love drawing and designing new things, i even designed my perfect school and estate and holiday park/village ;D but i really love animals too bits! :D if it was up to me, i'd keep every animal and help every animal. do you think i'd be a good vet? oh these options are soo confusing! :P

I wanted to be a vet all my life but now i want to be an RSPCA inspctor :police: ;D
My school doesnt have any options that will help me :tickedoff: is there an option that would suit all maybe lol
Maybe you could live on your estate with lots of animals and be a famous designer? ;D lol

I would love to be a vet. But i know i would burst out crying whenever a sick animal was bought in. And would be even worse if they needed to be PTS. I'l stick with the police. Natnat, i didn't know what i wanted to do when i was your age. I took all the wrong subjects. But there is always college. And if you need to, there will be adult education when your older.

Great advice dd :) :) :)
Having been thru 2 boys who didn't know what they wanted until later on and now Dee who has to choose her subjects, i can understand what you're going thru. It's such a hard question to ask somebody what they want to do for life like how scary is that :o :o :o
Don't worry choose the subjects you like and then look at what you might like to choose as a career and take some of those subjects as well, get a mix that will suit you. You can always and i repeat always change once you get to uni or tafe the course you're doing :)

and remember that vets don't just see the cute pets they also have to treat farm animals. i remember that vet training programme where they had to put their arm up the cows bums to feel if they were pregnant. would you be able to stomach that? xx0 ;D

:o OMG no way could I do that, Liam my 17 year old has just got a job as a chef in a holiday park but went to college for a year then training with a company that was helping him get a qualification, but they left him for over 3 months with nothing to do, so he has now found a job, but its not what he wants to do, I dont think you relaly know aht you want to do for a few years after leaving school, my eldest has always wanted to be a an air traffic controller, hes 25 now and going through it all now, but has always been in work just not the job he wants to do,
I always said I wanted to work in a garage ( men :smitten:) and a travel agents and did both, meeting Mick in the garage I was receptionist/telephonist and he was parts manager left when he got jealous of other mechanics learing over me ( those were the days ;)) and went in to travel agents only leaving to have my eldest but will go back one day part time ,

Think about what you enjoy doing and go from there

id make a crap vet but would love to work in a rescue centre or a wildlife centre - they are normally voluntary positions though so id have no cash

Honestly don't think I would want to be a vet, because of my attatchments to animals, think that would be the same for you Nat :)

I am, however, going to be a rodentologist when the funds are available!

I couldn't be a vet - I am much too soft. Would spend my whole life in tears. I never knew wanted I wanted to be so I picked subjects I enjoyed doing. No doubt you will change your mind a hundred times over before you actually leave school!

Kelly - I also have it on my 'to do list' for this year to do the rodentology courses O0

Saving up for everything at the moment - but if no money this year, it'll be done eventually for sure! :)
