So I think miss Noodle might have a cystitis/water infection.
They've been out for grass time this afternoon and I noticed on the pad in the carrier what looks like blood, gave them both a check over and miss Noodle has a bit of blood around her genitals.
She is quite well in herself, no obvious sings of discomfort, normal wheeking, scoffed lots of grass and has been in the hay tray, we've weighed her and that is all where we would expect it be. So I'll be ringing at 8am in the morning for an appointment, I guess there isn't really anything I can do in the mean time?

Well done for spotting whatever it is so quickly. If you have any Metacam, you could give her some Metacam to alleviate any discomfort she may be in. Otherwise, it’s really just wait until you can get her to the vet. When this happens to me, I do try to get a urine sample and take it with me to the vets so that they can do a dipstick to test for blood/infection etc. Here’s a helpful link about getting urine samples. Thank you for the link, I'll ring first thing and perhaps try and get a sample. To be honest if they didn't have a puppy pad in the bottom of the carrier I would have missed it as she seems her normal self. 😳
Not that I mind taking them to the vets but my dog was only in on Friday!

Hope you can get a prompt appt tomorrow. Wishing Miss Noddle a speedy recovery, poor little lady x

Hope you get an appointment tomorrow and there’s nothing seriously wrong.
Sounds as if you’ve caught it quickly anyway

Always worth a vet trip to set your mind at rest if you are worried, paws crossed its nothing serious but whatever it is you've spotted it straight away which is always the most important thing! X

All the best! A lawn trip has just triggered my Breila's sterile IC again despite me carefully working up to it with increasing portions of grass.. :(

Hope she is okay and you can get an appointment soon x

I've just heard squeaking in my piggy room, too. I think lawn time has triggered Holly's too.

All the best to little Miss Noodle.

Thank you all for your well wishes, we got to the vet this evening and she agreed that it appears to be a UTI, she listened to her gut and all is good, well when she could hear between the wheeks! She gave her a very firm palpation of her ovaries/abdomen and all ok there, no signs of anything untoward. Just the blood stained looking wee on the puppy pad, unfortunately my day has not gone to plan at work so no chance to get a sample, however, the vet was confident this is just as it appears as she is very well in herself. So we are home with antibiotics and loxicom for the next 7 days.
Baytril 2.5% once a day - 0.8ml topped up to 2ml with water.
Loxicom 0.13ml daily.

We're also going to just have them on puppy pads so we can monitor the amount/type of urine she produces.

Am actually quite surprised, we managed to get it into her without too much resistance, we popped her into a cuddle sack to keep her secure and she was very good. How long she will tolerate it is another matter, fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.

Anything else we could do to help or as a preventative measure in the future?

Glad all went well at the vet and I hope the antibiotics do the trick!

Sorry I can't be of more help. I know when one of my boys had a couple of UTIs that Kim at C&R strongly recommended I keep him on cystease to support his bladder. It seemed to do the trick.

The boys and I are sending lots of love.

Thank you

Thank you, will have a look at cystease.
