My vet prescribed Bruin theophylline (bronchodilator) for his heart issues, and he's been on it about a month. We don't know how much time he has left, but he's been doing well on it. My vet is really slow to fill his order (two days), and it only seems to last me a week and a half. They also are not very accommodating on online pharmacies and basically make me do the work (example - where I work, an online pharmacy can fax us their form and the vet will sign it. At this vet, they will not sign anything and I have to request the physical rx and take it from there.)

I'm wondering if anyone knows an online pharmacy that could fill this or even if a human pharmacy would? My vet has pretty decent pricing, so I don't think I'll be able to find anywhere cheaper. I'm trying to find a place that could fill his order quickly, and hopefully last me a little longer. I'm not sure if my vet/job would be able to fill it (that would be the best for me). Where I work has seen Bruin, however we aren't a small animal clinic.

I have no clue how long the med should last me, but a week and a half seems pretty short. I'm going to clear it up today. He takes 1ml every 12 hours.

Sorry to hear your little one is poorly. Are you US based?

I am. I had to put this particular pig to sleep so I don't need this thread anymore. Hopefully in the future we don't have to deal with heart failure again...
