Hi, I'm thinking of changing from wood shavings with puppy pads underneath to vet bed. There seem to be a lot of vet bed type products on the market though! Does anyone have any recommendations for places to buy it online? How often does it need to be changed? Thanks :)

Hi.I got mine from ebay. Its called "vetfleece"which may not be the "real"vet bed but is still very good quality. My 2 boars who are in a 150x30 cage have theirs changed every 3-4 days.I bought a special laundry bag for horse blankets that I put it in prior to washing to stop stray bits of fur and hay getting into the drum.Think I got that from Amazon.I hoover it after washing/drying.I have 2 vet fleeces-one in use and one "in the wash/drying"Works well especially in the Summer when its easier to dry outside after washing,

I got mine from ebay too, the green back I bought was called snuggiepaws. I've got the non slip back and the green back types. The non slip is lovely and thick but a bit heavy and akward to get in the washing machine (my cage is 160 x 80). If buying again I would go for the green back just for the ease of handling. I change every 3 - 4 days but I've cut mine into three bits so don't always have to change it all at once, depends how many wee corners have been in favour :)).

Sorry just reading my message again-should have said their cage is 150x90 not 150x30!:xd:
