Hello again sorry for all the questions I ordered some vet bed today off ebay for my handsome boys all different colours with paw prints they should arrive tomorrow what temperature can I do them on without ruining them or shrinking them is a 60 ok

It needs to be 60 degrees in order to kill any bacteria. I would recommend washing it twice before you cut it to fit your cage as it will shrink slightly.

I use Vet Bed and Fleece. You might be interested in trying Dettol Laundry Cleanser which advertises itself as being able to kill 99.9% of bacteria even when washing below 60 degree centigrade.

You have to wash it three times to prepare it. I wash on 60 degrees.

Hello, we manufacturer veterinary bed and we can confirm that washing it at 60 will be fine - there may be a little shrinkage, so it is best to cut it after the first washes. If you need any more information about veterinary bedding (vet bed) we have loads of information on our site
