Vet Bed

Hi,

For those of you that uses Vet Bed - How often do your regularly change your vet bed?

(Changing* as in removing the vetbed to be washed and replaced - not spot check/Brushing the poos off)

I'm trying to workout how many vet bed I need to purchase, as I will need enough for when I replace it etc.

How long does it take for the Vet Bed to be soiled? I know it depends on how many piggies and how much they eat/drink.

Rough ideas would be a massive help though!

Also do you put anything under the vet bed - i.e. Newspapers or Puppy Pads - Does this make any difference?

I place towels under it and change it all every four days.

I put puppy pads underneath it and change the wee area pads every 4 days, the vet bed lasts around 10 days, because they have a large hay tray and tend to wee and poo mostly in that...but there is the odd corner they go to too and these are where I change the pads every 4 days I have 2 guinea boars
