very cheap - can these be used for a c&c indoor cage?

wowser, that's mega cheap! hmmm, checked the measurements tho and the panels are smaller than the ones generally used which means that you may have to use 2 (or 1 1/2 if * can) to get enough height to stop piggies from getting out.

They've provided a phone number, so I would just phone to check how many panels they actually send and ask any questions you may have.

Good find tho!

There's some on Amazon ( more expensive tho' ) and two of the reviewers have used them for their guinea pig C & C cages.
Hope that helps.
x

Actually just checked and they're not as pricey anymore - in fact with postage they work out cheaper so I'd suggest you get them from Amazon if you want them.

I did see those reviews - then I thought maybe they were overexcited like me and just bought them!

They are a lot smaller, think I'm going to buy the normal size cubes from screwfix instead :)

Thanks guys!

If the individual squares came apart I suppose you could. I just would not recommend it because it really was meant for shoes:)

Don't know what the Screwfix prices are so reposting this for you in case you missed it:
B & Q do the normal ones that most people use for £22.98.

If your store or any near to you don't have it in stock phone them up ( with the product number ) and they'll order it in for you.
Make a fuss in P@H, they'll soon give you your money back just to stop you complaining in front of other customers - especially if you're quoting rspca guidelines.

You get 23 squares in the B & Q pack. I bought two boxes to build two cages and had four squares left over ( I built mine with sides and bottoms but didn't need a top as we don't have other pets who can get at them )

C&C Grids are storage racks - so they are all ment for shoes or similar as long as they are metal and high enough, you could use 2 grids in height they should be fine :). x

These aren't grids, they're more like panels, as demonstrated by my furrie threesome (now duo :( )

They do the job, but it's difficult to get stability as they don't have as many joining places. I went through lots of cable ties joining random corners together. I'm not happy with it, but I think it's more because my flat is so small (I have like 120 sq ft of living space!) and the C&C idea in general just doesn't work. I'm moving my boys into huge indoor cages next week, and will be using these "panels" as a collapsable pen for outside :)

lol, all the cubes used for c&c cages are not actually designed to be used to make cages for our little beauts, they are all designed as storage solutions! the ones I have bought before are marketed as bathroom storage cubes, so all that matters is that they're the right height and fit the purpose for cage building :)
