Ive been thinking of my career after my two kids get older, i used to work in a travel agents and it wasnt for me at all. Ive always had a love for animals :smitten: and have been looking into training to become a veterinary nurse i am 20 so i have alot of working years ahead of me i know it will be hard work whilst training but it would be worth it :) anyone in that industry on here?

I use to work in a travel agency and loved it, would love to do it again one day aprt time though need pig time, my sis in law was a vet nurse and she often tells me about the courses she could take etc, got a feeling some one else on here is a vet nurse as well, dont forget the bad parts of it though, I'd be in permanant tears and take in all the unwanted animals ;D

Me too

I was seriously considering it for a while but I would just be a snivelling mess everytime an animal case touched my heart.

Thanks for your veiws :) i know i had to think if i could cope with watching animals put to sleep it would be upsetting but i thought there are the good points as well. I am going to visit my local vets and get some more info.
