hi all! just wondering if there was any veggies to reduce/avoid/increase while one of my girls has a suspected UTI? i’ve cut out lettuce (i think this was right to do?) and increased cucumber. they have been getting pepper, 2 sprigs of coriander, celery and cucumber daily but i feel like this isn’t enough variety now i’ve stopped the lettuce. any advice is appreciated!

For a UTI, you can feed as normal - lettuce included. Increasing water via an extra slice of cucumber is fine to do but not too much that it’s causes diarrhoea. A higher water intake will help flush the bladder
A UTI Is caused by bacteria getting into the bladder and is treated by antibiotics. It’s not the same as long term bladder problems which may require a change in diet (ie cutting out lettuce for some IC, sludge piggies etc)

oh i see! silly me my mistake! the girls will be happy to have their lettuce back then, i must have mis-read some information! yes no worries its only slightly more cucumber than usual and i do spot clean the poos so i’d notice if there was any diarrhoea.
