Hello! I recently adopted a baby! He's my first thats this young! He could be as young as 4/5 weeks! He's got a buddy who's about a year old and is definitely teaching him the ropes, but he's eating significantly less of his vegetables than his older brother, and less than my guinea pig I had before adopting these lovies. The question is, is that normal? Will babies just possibly eat less veggie than fully grown piggies? TIA!

Don’t worry. He will be watching and learning what is safe from your older piggy and depending on how much exposure to veg he has had before he came to you etc, it’s just going to take some time for him to learn what to do. This is the benefit of him being with an older piggy though in that your older will teach him. As long as he is eating plenty of hay at all times and gains weight well, then don’t be concerned - veg is merely a snack in any event
