Is that iceberg lettuce? You may want to switch it for little gem lettuce - they will still adore it as iceberg doesn't have many nutrients in and may cause wet poo

Yes it is iceberg they seem fine with it their poo is normal but I will try them with ice gem, thank you!

Thankyou I appreciate it sorry I’m still a bit slow as I’ve not long since woken up hahaha their all time favourite is deffo curly kale and cucumbers they dig them out first even if they are right at the bottom

ours love cucumber too! They run off with it looking all proud

Mine do that with banana skin which they get as a treat every so often.

Never tried banana skin. I will have to try next time I eat a banana.

Remember to introduce a bit at a time to avoid upset tums. Mine left it first couple of times now they snap it up.

Can piggies eat bananas as well? I always hide cucumber in tubes and in their cage so they have to hunt for them, so funny watching them sniff around for them it’s like a competition between the two who can find the most

Yes they can eat bananas but not much and not often. Use as a treat.

The main issue with iceberg is it has pretty much no nutritional value for them , it’s much like “eating” water . I love the rest of the salad it looks delicious and I am sure you had a chorus of wheeks while chopping it all.

Tried my piggies with banana skin this morning at 9:30 before I went to work. Came back at 2:30 and they’d thrown the banana skin out of the cage little think that means they don’t like banana skin hahahaha
