Hi new here
We adopted 2 female Guinea pigs at Christmas
There lovely and doing well,
One question we have is regarding the veg we are giving them is it better to give it all in one go, we have been giving it in small quantities twice a day, and we are finding they are squealing at each other when the food comes out, with the one much more bossy and dominant to the other, she likes chases her sister away and won’t let her eat the food until she is finished

As long as they are getting the right quantities of the right foods it does not matter so much whether they get it in one go or in multiple feedings.

It is normal for there to be a little dominance behaviour around food but you do need to make sure your submissive pig is getting the food as well. You could do two separate feeding stations at either end of the cage so that the dominant one can’t be taking all of the food.
