Hello

Does anyone have a list of veg which is safe to feed daily? 2-3 times a week and fortnightly?

We bought some tubs which we want to put veg in and then twice a day the kids can grab a tub from the fridge and feed the guinea pigs.
We plan to write days of the week on the tubs and morning or evening to ensure the guinea pigs are having multiple feeds of veg and that if a veg is twice a week it would only go in Thursday morning and Sunday evening tubs for example.

Alot of lists I've seen online contradict each other.
One site said carrots are twice a week and another said daily. Same with spinach and rocket.

Thanks

Safe daily veggies are coriander, lettuce, cucumber and bell pepper.

Carrots should only be an occasional treat due to them being high sugar.
Spinach, rocket and other high calcium veg (kale and parsley in particular) should be no more than once a week.

A slice of spring greens, a green bean each can be added once a week.

The most effective way to reduce calcium intake (too much calcium can lead to bladder problems) is to ensure you only ever feed one tablespoon of pellets per pig per day (don’t allow constant access to pellets) and filter their drinking water.
Their diet needs to be mainly hay.
