I think it might be good to do something like that every once in a while or when a piggy is ill, but generally I don't think anti-bacterial stuff is good. They kill all bacteria, even the good ones that we need, and the anti-bacterial rinse water destroys micro organisms that purify the waste water in the city water works.
I don't think a sterile environment is good for anyone else than those who need it because of a very poor immune system.
Regular washing powder should be fine most of the time, just as regular washing up liquid or vinegar works for the cage. If piggies get fungal infections or bugs then something harsher is probaly a good idea, but not for every day use.
Everyone do what they think is best, I've noticed that the US and the UK too seems to be more into the anti-bacterial stuff, maybe you have other strains of bacteria than we? Problem is it's a vicious circle. The more anti-bacterial stuff we use, the more bacteria and viruses learn to adapt and resist.
