Junior Guinea Pig
Hi everyone 
Really wasn’t sure where to put this but as it isn’t *just* about the piggies I figured here would be best, though as ever they are involved in everything haha
Partner and I are in need of a vacuum cleaner (we’ve just moved in together to somewhere with carpets as opposed to lino, I underestimated how much the hay would get everywhere
) and wondered if anyone has any preferred brands? Particularly when dealing with the inevitable hay avalanche from the guinea room…
Partner has never lived with piggies before now and while they have fully captured his heart (he’s been permitted a few chin scritches in the cage during veg time!) he is rather surprised at quite how much the hay invades everything. I warned him
Dysons are a little out of our price range. I’ve heard good things about Shark, but thought I’d ask here if anyone has good experiences with ones? Especially as I don’t want to scare the piggies too badly when doing their room. We’ve got a dog as well but he doesn’t shed- though he also hates hoovers so I’m sure he’ll be voicing his opinion soon!
We had an illness scare from both dog and one of the piggies the second week living here, but thankfully both are making a full recovery. Not quite the housewarming we expected!
