Utilizing space

So I have my two rescue guinea pigs in a c and c cage. It's 4 by 2 and up on a table because I have a dog. I have another one too that's not in use. I really want to put it up because I have an extremely skittish guinea pig that freaks out during floor time All together it would allow for a lot more space. Where do you keep your cage? How do you find the space?

Our cage takes up most of my room, I have basically no floor space...

I have my c & c cage as an L shape in a corner (also on tables because I have dogs) would that help with space?

yeah. now for convincing my roommate
