Our inverter is only 1200W but it seems to cook everything a lot quicker and hotter then your average microwave.. but then again our old microwave was a lot less strong in wattage to compare the two. being 1200w do i follow the same time as I would a regular microwave? seeing as its obviously the same wattage, but I just worry because the inverter heats differently compared to a microwave. I don't want to ruin our heat packs in a few times of heating them, anyone got any info on this?

Can't help you I'm afraid except to say have you asked your new best friend Google?

@Tippyz There's usually a sticker on the snugglesafe saying what times to put it in the microwave for. 1200w is a lot higher than usual so you will need to reduce the time. If it doesn't say exactly on the sticker then you'll have to work it out.

I think that in an inverter microwave the power level of the oven can be adjusted as per heating load.
I haven’t got one though.... but would like one.
Hope this helps xx

I called Harvey Normal where we purchased the microwave and he told me that it won't cook hotter because it's an inverter.. still follow the time instructed for the wattage. thanks anyway 😊
