Using Heat Pads

Now the weatger is warming up during the day I'm thinking of putting my piggies outside in a hutch during the day and some nights. If I was to put heat pads in thd hutch when its a little colder would they actually think to snuggle upto it if they felt cold?

Yes, they should be attracted to the warmth, i.e sit on it and move their food and eat on it. I have a heat pad and mine enjoying popcorning on top of it.
