Useful Tips For Cleaning Out Cages?

I bought some machine washable fleecy mats which I put down on top of the correx it's very easy to clean and I got them very cheap from poundstretcher, does anyone have anymore tips?

Make sure that you pre-wash the fleece to get all the surface-sealing softener out, or your piggies will sit in their own pee! You may also want to use a fluid absorbent underlay of some sort; members use quite a wide range of materials for that.

yeah I use some absorbent fleece type blankets so if there is any leaking it gets soaked but I think these mats are a great buy
