Junior Guinea Pig
Hi all,
I have been away on holiday for the weekend and have left my piggies at a guinea pig hotel. This morning the lady running this hotel has gotten in contact with me, telling me that she thinks one of my guinea pigs (Winter) has a urine infection as he was sitting by himself earlier this morning making odd squealing noises and she has also found spots of blood on their bedding, however, she isn't 100% sure that these have come from Winter or whether it could perhaps be from my other piggy (Pickles). She says despite this, they are both still eating quite well. I am unsure what to do as we live 2-3 hours away (dependant on traffic) and are unlikely to be ready to leave for an hour or so. Should I book a vet appointment for this evening or do something else? Any help and advice would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
PICTURES I HAVE BEEN SENT:
Blood Patches
Still eating and drinking- Winter pictured right (Plain black)
Pickles pictured left (Tortoise shell and white)
