Urinary issues?

Yesterday evening I noticed Penelope had HORRIBLE smelling urine. She doesn’t squeal when peeing and is acting completely normal otherwise. No weight loss either. It had also left a deposit behind and I rubbed it between my fingers and it was very gritty. I know it’s normal if it’s powder like but it was certainly gritty this go around.
I called my vet to get her in and also to her back molars looked at it again because she has routine checkups on them to make sure they’re not over growing again. They can’t get her in until next Monday, a week from now. I’m almost certain she has an uti or cistitis or who knows. Has anyone had experience with this? Does she need to see a vet sooner?

I think it will wait until the check up on Monday unless she is crying when weeing etc.... remember white deposits are normal. If she is not in pain and no blood, then mention to vet next week. Hope all goes okay

It’s just that her pee is very smelly and gritty. I’m not sure if that means bladder sludge or an uti. I went ahead and ordered Sherwood urinary tabs because I’ve heard they help bladder sludge tremendously and it will also get rid of bladder stones! I was thinking of waiting to take her to the vet next Monday and see if these urinary tabs do anything. Don’t want the infection or whatever it is to get worse though!
