Ralfie and Sephy have been given antibiotics for upper respiratory infections but i'd like to know what the symptoms are so i know when its clearing and if its something more than just URI. They've both had conjunctivitis too which has almost cleared up now, is this connected? x

The general symptoms of URTI are runny eyes/nose, wheezing or rattly breathing, and the gp would usually be off ite`s food and a bit lethargic. As with any illness, different pigs react in a different way,so they may not show all the symptoms.

Conjunctavitis can be a symptom of URTI,.

They've both had snotty sneezes, and Ralfie seems off his food, he's been losing weight lately, hopefully it will get back to normal when this has cleared up. Neither have been rattly or weezy. They seem so fed up! Squinty eyes and sneezes poor things xx

Hope they will recover quickly.Septrin is a better anti biotic than Baytril for respitory infections.
