Our AC just stopped working! It is 35 degrees Celsius and I'm fearing for Cali. We can't get a repairman until Monday! Any tips? We could possibly move her to our RV, which has a fully functional AC. I've also turned on the ceiling fan in the room.

@Rochester Piggy Where does she live?

In the recent 31 degrees I was able to keep the room down to around 24 maximum.

If the rooms of your house have all heated up to 35 you'll need to move her to somewhere cooler until the rooms cool down. What is the weather report for overnight? Can you take her to a friend or relatives house?

Possibly put the fleece (if you use it) in the freezer for a while to cool it and then put it in the cafe so she has to be on something cool. Just not too cold

Do you have any slate or tiles that are cooler to touch that you can put in for her to lie on? A damp towel over one part plus a fan to move the air may also help. Remove anything plastic (igloo/house)'that can act as a sweat box. Ensure all hides have multiple entrances/exits to encourage air flow. Don't panic. Simple steps can help improve things until you can get AC fixed.

She's in our living room with the ceiling fan on. I won't turn it off until we have AC again. I have some old granite I could clean and put in for her.

I'll get a box fan out of the attic and put it near the cage. She has 3 pigloos, ill replace them with cardboard hideys with multiple entrances.

keep her ears wet, this is what I have read on the websites of some vets here. Piggies waste excess heat from the ears.
Long ago, when I didn't have AC at home and I had a longhair piggie, I used to give him a bath and then I left the fur a bit wet, especially the fur on the belly.
