Well Cadbury is alive and well and survived the night with my two...Snickers is still protecting him and there has been some chattering and rumbles from Bugsy this morning. He did come out briefly for breakfast but not sure if he ate anything so will need to keep an eye on that. Piccies when he finally emerges from the house.

Thank you to everyone that helped last night - sorry I panicked :red

Spoke too soon - Snickers and Bugsy have just had a major falling out and I had to pull Bugsy out of the cage - checked him over as Snickers had a mouthfull of fur but I cant see any blood although Bugsy is a bit shook up.

Oh dear. I hope they all calm down soon and all get on together in the end. :)

I hope that all goes well - give your boys a bath and another session on neutral ground with lots of space and see how that goes.

I have never bathed my boys - I have the stuff to do it and looked up hints and tips on the net but I am scared I will hurt them. Any tips?

I think Snickers has decided he wants to be in charge when I think Bugsy used to be the more dominant piggy...plus I hadn't realised how big my boys had got until I put Cadbury in.

This sticky has great advice for bathing

Make sure you have everything ready. Lots of towels. Some people use the bath and others the sink. I use the sink as it's easier on my back. I fill a bowl up with rinsing water and a couple of inches in the sink. I plop the pig in the sink to get them wet then stand them on a towel on the worksurface to shampoo, then back in the sink and use jugs of water from the bowl to rinse off the shampoo. Wrap the piggy in a dry towel with a big cuddle and dry off. Then I put them in a big dry towel in a my washing basket to keep warm whilst I do the next pig. I end up with 3 grumpy and damp girls in the wasshing basket all huddled up and determined not to forgive me. I give them a bit of a blow dry if needed, pop them back in a clean cage with cucmber and parsley and they love me again.

Good luck. xx

Thank you will try that - I have been too scared that I would accidentally drown them or something!

What tempterature should the water be?

Ok that makes sense - still scared witless but will give it a go later - all seems quiet at the moment - lots of purring and gentle wheeking at the moment.

Well they have had their bath and they were not best impressed! Although they quite enjoyed being wrapped in towels side by side in the laundrey basket. They are all back in their cage now and so far all
is quiet. I think I'll get their playpen back out later and see how they get on then.

I'm confused.com!

Am I being particularly dense? I'm just finding it confusing that it's my bonded pair that are tearing strips off each other now I've introduced Cadbury...is this normal?
