Update On My Girls Home :)

I decided to build the girls a C&C cage :) it gives them more space, although it does stretch our available space to the max :) but I can live with that! The ramp finally arrived today, and even Buttercup (who has never used the ramp, even in the old cage) has been bubbling up and down it, looking very pleased with herself! The upstairs is a hay loft, and has a pile of fresh hay, as well as a woven hay tunnel, hay ball and a little cardboard box full of hay which is one of Daisy's favourite places to sleep!

Until now they've also had a cat litter tray full of hay and a hay rack downstairs (so Buttercup can access hay too) but now they are both confident with the ramp I might move it upstairs so they have more downstairs space for running around and hidey holes/beds etc!

Here are some rubbish pics, I'll get some better ones done once their new bed arrives, oh and Daisy was hiding in the hay and feeling camera shy!

That's brilliant, I bet they're loving it. I'd suggest one little mod to it by adding some correx on the grids to the side of the ramp. Mine have a habit of weeing while on the ramp & it could possibly go down your wall.
 
Ooh that's a good idea! Thanks :) I'll dig out my correx scraps and see if I have a big enough one - I've had a few incidents of them peeing over the side of the hay tray, but fortunately that was onto the (switched off) wipe-clean radiator lol

That is brilliant, love that you have them on Vetbed too.
 
They have half their ground floor covered by VetBed - the half where they tend to sleep as Buttercup tends to just stretch out on the floor to sleep (Daisy is a big fan of fleecey donut beds) and I thought it would be more cosy for her :) I've ordered another square of it now so I can cycle them when one is in the wash - it's lovely stuff! The other half of the cage is a double layer of fleece on top of puppy pads :)
 
did you get the cubes from Amazon (pet den) i did !
