Sooo I decided to extend my cage outward rather then adding a top and now it's pretty big.
I expected them to explore and have fun but instead they were fighting.
Butters is the one I got first to hes the dom.
When I put them in there cage butters was all over popcorn! Chasing him around jumping on him and purring.
I've had them for about 3 months now and they've been pretty good up until now.
I'm thinking maybe I should wait it out but I'm worried that butters might hurt popcorn.
Did I do something wrong?!
Help!

New territory, including expanding the cage and cleaning, can trigger dominance behaviour - fighting is another thing altogether. As long as one is being submissive there shouldn’t be a problem. Just make sure there’s two of everything, and don’t separate unless there really is a fight or relations break down. How old are they?

If they are just chasing, humping and purring (called rumblestrutting), then that is totally normal dominance and absolutely to be expected with an environment change such as increasing the cage size. It is not the same thing as fighting at all. As long as one piggy remains submissive, then it isn’t a problem. It can take a few days for things to settle once territories have changed.
I am the one who commented on your previous post about how to add a loft to your Midwest and advised that a bigger cage is better than a loft. You have done the right thing by giving them more space in this respect but there will always be a little unrest whenever you change territories.
