Unusual Bum Sniffing/biting In Sows

Hi Guys

I've been searching all over the internet for information about this to no avail. Really hopeing you can help.

We have 3 sows all around 3 years old (3 months or so either way) and they've lived happily with each other for that entire time. In the last month or so the dominant GP (Hannibal) has taken to nibbling the most submissive GP's (Biscuit) bottom. She does not seem to be hurting her but biscuit is bothered by it.

The Biscuit has been barbered by Hannibal for long time but Biscuit has never seem bothered.

Nothing has been changed about their cage etc just wondering if anyone had any more information on this.

Could it be a hormonal issue/ovarian cyst that is at the bottom of the change?

Have you got links to any reference so I can research that?

I'm always nervous about taking a seemingly healthy pig to the vet as it stresses them out!
