Hello, I got my little Jeeves, yesterday my mum had him for the last year but sadly passed he traveled 3 miles to my home by car and was fine yesterday but when I woke up today I noticed he hasn’t touched his food or vegetables or water and I picked him up for a cuddle he normally runs away from me as he isn’t comfortable around me yet but he didn’t move and when I put him back he hasn’t moved since and I’m not sure what to do? Thanks in advance

Hi and welcome

I am extremely sorry for your upset.

Please contact an out-of-hours vet (you can find them by googling) and ask for their advice.

Please follow the advice in our one-stop emergency care link. you will find that it is very detailed, practical and comprehensive.
Here is the link: Emergency, Crisis and Bridging Care until a Vet Appointment

It may be that your boy's body is closing down but we cannot do any assessment without hands-on access to your piggy. You can try to see whether he is able to swallow a very little mushed up pellets; if he can, then please continue to feed him little but often round the clock (see the link above). If not and if refuses to take food way past his current weakness, then it is unfortunately too late. What you can do in this case is also in the link above.
