Hi first time post, one of my piggies has developed a little bit of gunk in her eye, she is drinking eating and running around as normal. Should I be worried. ?
It depends on the nature of the gunk. Milky white discharge is just be normal cleaning fluid but anything else may signify some irritation or potential infection in the eye/haypoke. Only a hands on vet check can tell you whether there is an issue though m so please do see a vet if you are concerned. Eyes (eye injury, squinting, clouding of the eye, redness etc) are considered urgent and do need to be seen by a vet promptly

If there is just a tiny bit of crust or gunk that has spilled over, you generally do not have to worry.
