Sprout here. I need to warn any piggies who might be new to their slaves. It’s about nail trimming. Now, sounds quite nice, you might think, but it is horrible. “Nail trimming” involves your slave touching your feet. Yes, actually touching your feet! Now, as any prey animal knows, this is not on. Not on at all! I skitter round all over the place, making it hard for slave to do her job.

After touching your feet, the slave will then proceed to cut the tip of your nails. Sometimes they’ll nick the “quick”, and that hurts! And makes it bleed. I have found that if you shout, then you’ll get a treat, so maybe do that. Yes, you should make as much fuss as possible!

I suppose it’s over fairly quickly, but why should we make it easy for our slaves?
 
Thanks for the warning Sprout, I am going to make sure that Theo doesnt see this post as he's up for his first attempt at home nail trimming later (and having his boar bits checked for bits of hay and tangled fur!), the ladies were done yesterday but Theo cleverly wedged himself in a haycube and wouldnt come out!
But I have curly parsley on hand as a bribe :)

Sprout says that since you have a bribe, then it should be fine. He hopes that neither Theo or you end up too traumatised!
 
Theo would like to echo Sprout's wise words about nail trims! One minute a chap is popcorning around happily then the next he's abducted by hoomans wanting to mess with his feet, nail trims take a whole 2 minutes and dont stop even when you squeal! Then there was the indignity of having a big tuft of lilac fur removed from his boar bits! Afterwards there was parsley and lots of cuddles with daddy but mummy will be getting the "evil pig eye" look for quite some time!
