I am looking to convert to fleece from shavings for my c and c cage as one guinea pig has become poorly and now has breathing and nasal issues and after a stroke the shavings make him disoriented when his brother goes for a mad run around the cage. Cant seem to find any decent current suppliers as id rather just use a liner than needing lots of additional layers of towels etc

Ziggys piggy’s do custom made cage liners.

All my liners are from Ziggy's Piggy's, they are the best and Ziggy will make then any size and shape to suite you :)

You beat my to it @Gem789 I was just about to suggest Ziggy's Piggies too!
Waiting on mine coming from Ziggys. Been delayed no doubt due to the heavy snow! Haven’t seen the Postie for days!
Poor man will be laden with my deliveries as waiting on more canvas photos of the piggies! Well, I had to get ones of the new girls didn’t I?

Thank you so much i will check out that site recommended! Any advice on using them as I'm so new to the idea of fleece. Do i need anything else under them etc? Our bottles dont drip which is good but they are older cavys rescued so they are not litter trained so go anywhere! Lol thank you!

I make my own liners, and don't use anything under them. I do place mats in the places they wee the most, and change them in between full cage changes. I would assume Ziggys liners would be similar and wouldn't need anything under them.

Hi, Still preparing for my piggies and I would like to make my liners but I don't know what padding to use. The utube videos I've watched mention U haul pads but they are an American thing which I can't seem to find over here in the UK. What do you use please? Many thanks

I use mattress liners. I get the in IKEA for between £5 and £8 depending on the size Just the cheapest one they do. It's the slightly padded ones rather than waterproof ones. You can also use old towels if you prefer.

Thanks Reenie, I think I'll try the mattress liners.

I've just bought some Zorb from eBay, it was dear but it's just to make pads so it should do a few. I've been watching YouTube videos of making liners and it looks quite simple. I'm in the UK too. Also Wilkinson's do a cheap water proof mattress protector that is good to chop up and use.
If any one was to look up my shopping list they would think I have a problem! Hahaha
