Hello everyone,

Recently i have been using Fitch bedding for my piggies it's really good and works out pretty cheap for me.

Prior to this I've tried dust free shavings and fleece but didn't like either, the shavings were far too messy and fleece was really smelly!

Fitch cost me round about £16 every 3 weeks because i have 4 cages at the moment but it isn't unavailable for delivery (hope they don't go into administration) and i only have enough left for one more clean out. mallethead

What other bedding would you recommend that isn't pricey and non dusty and not too messy?

Thank you

I use recycled cardboard bedding. I have used finacard, walmsley premier bed and now ecozorb.

The latter two work out about £6 for a 20kg bale which I collect from a local supplier. I think the finacard was £13 delivered.

I love the card bedding as it is pretty absorbent and doesn't get stuck to cosies etc. I use newspaper and puppy pads underneath to make it last longer, I find they only need cleaning once weekly with it.

Thanks so much, I'll have a look into them!

I use shredder paper from my friends work place. He's the boss and brings me home huge bags of it every week. It lasts both 4 foot cages and the pigs don't mind it at all.
