i decided to give my piggies a bit more room to run around and put out their collapsible wooden run inside the house next to their cage. They absolutely love it and have so much space to popcorn and play - they now chill out a lot less and spend more time being active. We have a Lino floor in the utility room so I just put a sheet down on that and their lap time fleece snuggle blanket on top, until such time as I get a made to measure fleece liner. They are so happy it made the effort worthwhile. I am sure that not many have the space to give them a 1.2 X1.1 meter run around area inside and their cage right beside them so I think they are very lucky piggies! I now just have to get that liner and maybe work out how to make a long ramp so they can safely come and go out the side door of their cage for themselves (it's about a half meter drop into the run from the cage door, so this might take some planning!)

that looks great.. they need a little piggy lift to take themselves down to play !

No wonder they look happy - all that space and things to do and explore.

Looking at ordering a custom sized fleece liner to fit in there. Has anyone compared the liners from ziggyy's piggies, hammockyhammocks and cosybedsandburrows or any other websites to see the pros and cons of each? Would prefer something that I can get away with only having to wash twice a week or less. Any of you able to share your experiences of fleece liners from these places? Thanks.

my piggies have theire own room. c&c cage 21 metres square. It is an odd shape so I have a ground sheet then towels where they pea now and then then fleece. Only change fleece and towels twice a week as they use litter trays for most of it. {fleece pegged over cage to encourage them}You could try using covered cat litter box till you work out a ramp for the cage.

I have now built a ramp system so they can come and go between the cage and their run as they please. The piggies love it as they can run around and explore when they want and disappear into the hay to sleep at any time. Here's some photos...
