Sadly both Tegan and Hafren have very recently lost their mates within two weeks of each other and were pretty depressed about it; especially Tegan.
Considering their rather dodgy track record, especially a failed bonding attempt with Iola and Hafren 2 years ago after Tegan became widowed for the first time, I wasn't holding up my hopes too high!
But thankfully both girls (who still know each other from the big Tribe group times back in 2013) have this time round decided that company is more important than which of them is coming top and are fast becoming best mates and snuggle partners. They have started to popcorn, zoom and play dodgems with each other as if they were youngsters again and not two slightly arthritic ladies in spitting distance of their 7th birthday (Hafren in September and Tegan in October).
While I am still digesting my three losses in less than two weeks, I am very happy to see two of my 'worry pigs' happily gambol like that!
It really shows again that no piggy is ever too old to not have company...
