Hello,
I haven't visited the forum for a while now, so hello :)
At about 3AM, my parents noticed that one of my pigs, a female, was chasing the other (also a female), constantly trying to mount her. I understand she was in season, because she was squabbling :)) We had to separate them eventually, because Ginger wouldn't stay away from Snap.
Any suggestions? This is the first time she has done this too......... I am concerned :{

It is most likely going to be a strong season which can cause my girls to do the same, how old is Ginger?

Mine do this every few weeks- they seem to take it in turns. One or other of them will spend the evening purring at the other, circling and then trying to mount, while the other kicks and hops and scurries away. I've even got a video of it somewhere.
The good news is, it usually only lasts the evening and the next day it seems forgotten.

It's either because 'season' or some domineering going on. I wouldn't separate them personally, if snap gets too fed up she'll let ginger know. Unless they are at each others throats proper fighting like blood shed. I'd be inclined to let them sort it out.
