Two different colored teeth

I was petting my Guinea pig and noticed her tooth is chipped. Not super concerned since they grow back but it’s more yellow than the non chipped one. Her bottom teeth are normal and non Yellow. Should I be worried that’s it’s yellowish?

Hello my piggy had a tooth root abscess last year. His tooth finally fell out. When it grew back it was yellow and weak. It’s since fallen out again and now doesn’t grow properly.



I’d keep an eye of it. It will either fall out and grow back normal, abnormal or not grow back at all.

Do you know how it chipped?

I agree, keep an eye on it to see how it grows back and keep a record of your piggies weight for reference. My Bill broke one of his incisors and it unbalanced all his front teeth which broke occasionally but he managed very well and it never stopped him eating

Thx for the reply! I’m not sure how it chipped. But I bought one of those edible hideys that I put hay in the middle of and maybe that did it? She sometimes gets into a scuffle with my other pig idk if that affects teeth though
