Hi All,

Just went in the pig room to give them a stroke. Sunshine was up there and wanting a cuddle as usual. Twinkle had his bum to the cage which is the norm for him so I thought I'd stroke him between his eyes and he loved it, he was closing his eyes and was really relaxed. But as soon as I tried to stroke his fur he ran off! ::)

But it's a start. If I can get him on my knee and stroke his nose area then that would be a huge improvement! Maybe he is calming down after all!

Hi All,

Twinkle is now letting me stroke all of him! I think I found the cause as to why he wouldn't let me before! He is part peruvian and has the same bum as one with all the fur going on and it must have been uncomfortable for him so I trimmed it down and he is totally fine!

Does the fur on the bum keep growing?

Angel mini-pig has long hair on his bum, it grows back after being trimmed. :)
 
Sephy's does! but Maggies doesnt so lord knows ;D Ralfie likes being stroked up from his nose along his white stripe too :smitten:
 
Thanks Anne and Emma, I hope it does grow back as I love it, but he seems so much calmer now!

I also chopped Pudsey's fur off today, he looked like a Judge with a wig on. He had a skirt around the bottom, so much tidier now! :D
