Twinkle the Teenager!

Hi All,

Whenever I start a thread here it is usually about Twinkle! ;D Yesterday I cleaned all the cages out. I done Cuzzy first and then swapped his cage over for my other Nero 3, cleaned Cuzzy's old one out and put newspaper in so I could put the girls in that while I cleaned their c&c out.

I then brought Sunshine in, opened all the windows and turned the heating off and he was fine. But then it was Mr Twinkles turn and he was shouting at me. I put him in a basket and he wheeked so loud and seemed to jump in the air. I then weighed him and he done it again, when he was inside with Sunshine he was fine, they were watching TV together (playhouse disney of all things, you would think being a teenager he would have preferred Hollyoaks!)

When it was time to put him back he did it again, he is such a nark lately! He is 5 months 3 weeks so what I want to know is is this normal? Also he is my naughtiest pig but with a big character and it makes me laugh because he looks like a little angel with his peruvian face and bum! 98)

LOL he has never nipped me but he and Sunshine are the ones who I think may bite at the moment. I should have called them Kevin and Perry, the thing is they can't be without one another. If I bring one in for weighing the other goes mad! Yesterday when I brought Sunshine in Twinkle sat in the basket (he got there himself) waiting for me to bring him in! :D

Only had my three boys a day and they are so much different from my girls. Went in this am and their beds were flipped over and all raved out. lol

They are so much more confident than the girls.

OH loves them all but loves the fact that Jimmy and Joe dont fun off when we go to pick them up. Loving learning lots more about boy pigs. :smitten:
 
LOL Lindsay, some people will say there is no difference but my boys are so confident. Like this morning. Sunshine and Mr Twinkle are going mad for food the girls are just sitting there content. I was worried as usually the hide up but I think the girls are getting used to us now.

Do your girls popcorn? Mine haven't as yet but the boys will popcorn for nuggets and as soon as I put hay in the cages they go mad! I think maybe the girls are far too polite to do things like that, they look down their noses at the boys! So funny!

My girls only popcorn when they are given lots of space to run about. Maybe girl guineas are far too intelligent to be impressed by the simple things in life unlike the boys :laugh:
 
You've got a point there. Like all women, they aren't easily pleased! :D

The girlies popcorn like mad especially to OH's voice which i am so jealous of lol. They were out in the run about a fortnight ago while he was using a electic saw i went over to them to check they were not scared with the noise and they were all popcorning to it 98) bless them it was so funny. Never got camera out at the right time. As Honey is a Coronet her coat swishes round when she popcorns it looks so so funny must have the camera ready to do a video of her. :smitten: :smitten:
