I use a lot of upside-down cardboard boxes with holes cut out and pick up the cardboard tubing from the carpet shop. All free. And for hygiene purposes are throw away after quarantine of foster pigs.
Have a look round newly planted wooded areas where you live. New trees get plastic tubes put round them to stop wild animals eating them. I salvaged half a dozen of them that had been blown over. My piggies love hiding in them.
i collect empty boxes from our office and cut oles either side of them and turn them upside down, my OH also brings home large cardboard tubes whihc have wire delivered on, these are nice and easy, they dont look pretty but I don't think the boys really care
